Certinvest Asset Management Company was set up by a group of natural persons, at the initiative of Eugen Voicu..
November 1994
The launch of the first open-end fund, Aviva Investors Capital Plus (initially named Credit Fond, and later renamed Capital Plus), with a balanced structure of portfolio. Among the founders, there were many important companies at the moment: Automobile Bavaria, Computerland, Vifor Bosch.
June 1999
The launch of the second fund, Aviva Investors Tezaur (Tezaur at that time), a fixed income fund, with low risk investments and high liquidity.
December 2001
The third member of the Certinvest managed fund family, Aviva Investors Intercapital (Intercapital at that time), investing mainly in equities listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and Rasdaq.
July 2002
The launch of the first privately managed portfolio.
December 2003
The Romanian-American Enterprise Fund becomes the majority shareholder of the company.
January 2004
The company's shareholders equity is increased up to 7 704 000 000 lei.
February 2004
Certinvest becomes majority shareholder of SSIF Intercapital Invest, thus gaining better and faster access to the stock market.
May 2004
Aviva Investors Orizont (Orizont at that time) is launched, the first bond fund in Romania, and the fourth fund Certinvest manages.
November 2004
Certinvest celebrates 10 years of activity in the Romanian investment market.
May 2005
A privately managed portfolio linked to the BET Index becomes available to investors.
January 2006
The Certinvest Index is launched and the company's offer is enriched by privately managed portfolios linked to this index.
March 2006
Intercapital fund (now Aviva Investors Intercapital) managed by Certinvest wins the UNOPC (now AAF) award for the largest number of investors in 2005.
Iuly 2006
CEC S.A. becomes the new distributor of Certinvest managed open-end funds.
February 2007
Certinvest starts distribution of the funds it manages through BCR network, and sells its holding at SSIF Intercapital Invest to its own shareholders, with a profit of approximately 1 million euro.
February 2007
Orizont (now Aviva Investors Orizont) wins UNOPC (now AAF) award for the best bond fund in Romania.
November 2007
Certinvest becomes part of Aviva Romania
Certinvest launches the first closed-end fund in its portfolio, Everest.
September 2008
Certinvest becomes Aviva Investors Romania, joining other asset management companies within Aviva Plc to form the international asset management business of Aviva Investors
Aviva Investors Romania launches the second closed-end fund in its portfolio, Aviva Investors Leader
