  • Aviva Investors Romania launched www.directinvest.ro, the first platform through which investors may invest or redeem from mutual funds, exclusively online. Whether in Romania or abroad, whether it is night or day, now you may invest or redeem from the open-end funds managed by Aviva Investors Romania, free of charge.
  • Aviva Investors Romania offers, as member of the Fund Managers' Association, a free one-month subscription to Ziarul Financiar and Business Magazin to all new investors. If you are a new client of the funds managed by Aviva Investors Romania, all you need to do is send us the information requested in the form attached, and we will fax the completed form to PubliMedia. You will receive the publications starting with the 1st of the next month.   • Today, September 29th 2009, the asset management global group Aviva Investors celebrates its one year anniversary.


  • Today, September 15th 2009 marks 15 years since the creation of the asset management company Certinvest, rebranded to Aviva Investors Romania in 2008.
  • Aviva Investors Romania is Alex Gavan's main partner in his ascent to Everest. Alex will try to reach the Everest summit, without using any additional oxygen or sherpas. For Alex, this is the fourth ascension on a mountain higher than 8000m, after his successes in 2008 (Makalu summit - 8463m), 2007 (Gasherbrum I summit - 8068m) and 2006 (Cho Oyu summit - 8201m). All Alex's ascents are made without the use of supplementary oxygen or sherpas. Join us in following Alex in his expedition here.
  • The open-end fund Aviva Investors Orizont, specialised in bond investments, is "the performer of 2008", according to an article published by Ziarul Financiar, for the performance of 14%. The same publication states also that "bond funds have been the most profitable investments in the mutual fund industry". The information has been confirmed by the Association of Fund Managers, the organisation which brings together the asset management companies in Romania.   • On the occasion of the end-of-year holidays, Aviva Investors Romania will cease its asset management activity between December 25th 2008 and January 4th 2009.
    All subscription and redemption operation in our funds (AI Intercapital, AI Capital Plus, AI Orizont and AI Tezaur) will be unavailable during the specified period.
    Redemption requests submitted during the week 15-19 December 2008 will be paid on December 24th 2008.
    Redemption requests submitted during the week 22-24 December 2008 will be paid on January 8th 2009.

  • On September 29th 2008, Certinvest joined other 15 asset management companies throughout the Aviva group to form Aviva Investors, the international asset management network. Thus, Certinvest became Aviva Investors Romania
  • On Septemebr 23rd 2008, all funds managed by Aviva Investors changed their names, by adding the "Aviva Investors"prefix to their initial name. Thus, the open end fund Intercapital became Aviva Investors Intercapital.
  • In November 2008, Certinvest was bought by Aviva Romania, creating its local investment management bases
